Increasingly, GitHub is being used not just to host code or static webpages but fully-functioning tools. Though these tools might pull in outside libraries (e.g. jquery), they crucially do not require the creator to request any traditional IT resources, such as a processor or storage. Thus, the below are great examples of open source projects that can be easily replicated and modified for countless other uses.
