Asynchronous Dependency-Chaining Executor
Software componentOrchestrationOrchestration & Toolsarc:AsyncDependencyChainExecutor
A dependency-ordered executor that spawns all agents at once and has each await futures for its own dependencies, so an agent starts as soon as its specific prerequisites complete.
Responsibility. Starts each agent as soon as its own dependencies resolve.
Also known as: Asynchronous dependency chaining, Future-based dependency waiting
Variant of Dependency-Ordered Executor abstract
When to choose. Choose when phase-barrier latency proves unacceptable and maximal parallelism is needed; accepts higher complexity and cascading cancellation of dependents when an agent fails.

Design guidance
- MUST cancel all transitive dependents when an agent fails.
Classification
- Patterns
- Futures/promises dependency chaining
- Quality attributes
- Performance efficiency (ISO/IEC 25010)
- Risks mitigated
- Barrier-induced idle time
