Drift Response Policy
Data artifactObservability & EvaluationObservability & Evaluationarc:DriftResponsePolicy
A tiered policy mapping the magnitude of a detected distribution shift or performance drop to a response level: log and monitor, investigate and adjust, or page on-call for immediate action.
Responsibility. Defines which response each drift severity level requires.
Also known as: Drift response procedures, Tiered drift response

Design guidance
- SHOULD be reviewed regularly and thresholds adjusted based on the observed false-positive rate (Ref8.04).
Quantitative guidance
As stated by the sources; verify before use.
- Tier 1: < 10% shift or < 2% performance dip -> log and review weekly; Tier 2: 10-25% shift or 2-5% dip -> root-cause analysis, threshold adjustment, consider fine-tuning data; Tier 3: > 25% shift or > 5% drop -> page on-call, prepare rollback, consider reverting or emergency retraining (Ref8.04).
