Gradual Rollback Controller
Software componentInfrastructureInfrastructurearc:GradualRollbackController
A rollback controller that reverses a progressive rollout stepwise, reducing the new version's traffic share and checking stability at each step.
Responsibility. Performs a staged traffic reversion to the previous version.
Also known as: Controlled rollback
Variant of Version Rollback Controller abstract
When to choose. Choose for moderate quality degradation, performance issues or non-critical bugs.

Design guidance
- SHOULD accelerate the rollback if stability is lost at any step.
Quantitative guidance
As stated by the sources; verify before use.
- New-version traffic 50% -> 25% -> 10% -> 0% with 10-minute monitoring per step (Ref8.08).
