Message Schema Validator
Software componentOrchestrationOrchestration & Toolsarc:MessageSchemaValidator
A boundary check that validates inter-agent messages against their contract before they are consumed.
Responsibility. Rejects inter-agent messages that violate their schema.
Also known as: Contract validator, Integration-boundary validation, Handoff verification

Design guidance
- MUST enforce semantic required-field constraints that the serialization format itself does not (e.g., proto3).
- SHOULD have receiving agents validate completeness of received information and request clarification rather than fabricating missing details.
Quantitative guidance
As stated by the sources; verify before use.
- Multi-agent support: agents at 3-5% individually produced 14.2% system hallucination; handoff verification, schemas, audit trails and consistency checks cut it to 5.8% (Ch3.10).
