Pre-warmed Capacity Plan
Data artifactInfrastructureInfrastructurearc:PrewarmedCapacityPlan
A serverless hosting plan that keeps pre-warmed execution environments running so invocations never incur cold starts, optionally with private-network integration and longer timeouts.
Responsibility. Guarantees warm capacity for latency-sensitive functions.
Also known as: Premium Plan, Provisioned Concurrency
Variant of Serverless Hosting Plan abstract
When to choose. Choose for latency-sensitive agents requiring consistent performance; avoid enabling it for all functions, since it pays for idle capacity and removes serverless's main cost benefit.
Relationships
alternative to variability
Design guidance
- SHOULD NOT enable provisioned concurrency across all regions and functions when cold starts only affect infrequently used functions.
