Design guidance
- SHOULD combine short-term (hours-days), long-term (weeks-months) and environmental context simultaneously rather than any single layer.
- SHOULD account for current user availability and attention state (e.g., in a video conference) before recommending an action.
Classification
- Patterns
- Three-layer contextual awareness (short-term, long-term, environmental)
- Quality attributes
- Functional suitability: correctness and validity (ISO/IEC 25010 | NIST AI RMF: valid)Interaction capability (ISO/IEC 25010)
- Risks mitigated
- Identical responses to identical queries regardless of situationTemporally inappropriate suggestions
